Its author, John Chapman can advise you online anywhere, or at your stables in Beds, Herts & Bucks & adjacent areas From the leisure hack to the top-flight sports horse, from foal to veteran, he can use his 40+ years of formulating, manufacturing & supplying forage feeds & supplements, combined with his nutritional training to help you get the best for & from your horse.
You must first complete the Nutrition Enquiry Form & submit it for appraisal. If the author feels he can help he will prepare a report which includes a diet analysis highlighting problem areas & also a feed plan. He will then send you a bill. When you’ve paid it, your report will follow
Fees start at £29.50 for a basic report & diet plan & increase in proportion to the time involved, based on £50/hour, or part thereof. You will be sent an estimate on receipt of your enquiry form before work begins.

Over the centuries mankind has developed herbal treatments for a variety of ailments, based on anecdotal evidence. Recent scientific research has identified the active substances in many of these traditional products, e.g. aspirin – active ingredient: salicylic acid found in willow; digitalis, a heart drug obtained from foxglove; morphine from the opium poppy. Where good peer-reviewed evidence exists, the author of this website will advise use of such products where appropriate to help maintain good health & performance. Current Veterinary Medicines regulations forbid such information to be published in conjunction with promotion for specific products, such as those to be found on the Gravenhorse Feeds website.
